Refund And Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel one of our classroom Continuing Education Courses, we will attempt to carry your Tuition Fee forward one time to another similar CE Course offered within the same CE “season” for an additional $25 transfer fee.. This is not guaranteed and is determined on a case-by-case basis. (a “season” is defined as course subject matter developed for a specific period July 1-June10) If re-scheduled course materials have been updated since cancellation student will be charged an additional $10.00 new material fee. There are no refunds on any of our North Carolina Real Estate Continuing Education approved courses (no exceptions). Transferring to another class will have limited options from May 1-June 10 of any year with the possibility of not being able to be transferred to another class. Registrations of any SOLD OUT class will not be able to transfer to another class. “Walk-In” Policy
“Walk-Ins” are welcome in our classroom CE Courses as space permits and are subject to an additional “Walk-In” Fee of $10.00 per CE Course. (We suggest you Pre-Register for any of our CE Courses to avoid extra fees.) “No Show” Policy
If you are registered for one of our CE Courses and you do not show up for the course, you must call our Administrative Office at 919-714-7427 from 9:00AM-4:00PM Monday-Thursday within 24 hours to reschedule the course. *A student will not be granted the opportunity to reschedule a class for both a cancellation and a no show.
Classroom Attendance Policy
State Law requires all CE Students to attend at least 90% of a 4 Hour CE Course including breaks. CE Students who are absent from the classroom more than 24 minutes will not receive credit for a CE Course. (For example, if a CE Course begins at 8:00AM and you arrive in the classroom after 8:24AM, by State Law our instructor will not allow you to enter the CE Classroom, and we cannot give you credit for the CE Course. We will consider you to be a “No Show”, and you should call our Administrative Office at 919-714-7427 from 9:00AM-4:00PM on Monday-Thursday to reschedule your CE Course for a $25.00 Rescheduling Fee.) THERE ARE NO TESTS OR EXAMS GIVEN IN ANY OF OUR CONTINUING EDUCATION – CLASSROOM COURSES. Continuing Education Course Reporting
After you have successfully completed one or more of our CE Course(s), Home Coach Real Estate School will report electronically within seven (7) days to the NC Real Estate Commission that you have successfully completed your CE Course(s). We will email you within (7) days a Certificate of Completion at the end of your CE Course(s) to keep for your own records to the address provided at registration. After you have successfully completed one or more of our offered On-Line CE Course(s), Home Coach Real Estate School will be notified by the course administrator and Home Coach Real Estate School will report electronically within seven (7) days of notification to the NC Real Estate Commission that you have successfully completed your CE Course(s). We will email you to the address provided at registration a Certificate of Completion to keep for your own records. What does my tuition include?
The tuition for one of our classroom CE courses includes the course book in PDF format and any necessary supplemental material. What should I bring to class?
Please bring pocket card issued to you by the NCREC with you to check-in before class. In class, you will need to have an electronic device for viewing course material, paper, pens/pencils and highlighters for taking notes. As stated by the NCREC, the annual license renewal pocket card issued by the Commission to each licensee shall be retained by the licensee as evidence of licensure. Each licensee shall carry his or her pocket card on his or her person at all times while engaging in real estate brokerage and shall produce the card as proof of licensure whenever requested.
Please refer to WRAL for closings and delays or call the school at 919.714.7427 Day classes are usually announced separately from night classes. The school will attempt to email students in advance of a cancellation.
Coaching Refund And Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds on any of our coaching sessions. If a student is unable to make a scheduled session we will be happy to reschedule the appointment one-time within 30 days from the original appointment date for a similar date and time according to the availability of the Home Coach Coaching Schedule.
