Broker Relationships and Responsibilities

Topics addressed in this course include a review of agency relationships in real estate residential and commercial sales and commercial property management transactions, a real estate broker’s legal duties to clients and customers, a step-by-step review and discussion of the function and responsibilities of a real estate broker when working with sellers and buyers, a review of issues associated with transactions in progress when a broker leaves a firm and a review of license status and education issues.

Tuition does NOT include textbook.

North Carolina Real Estate Manual must be purchased separately. The recommended on-line version may be purchased through the NC Real Estate Commissions web site at On-Line Textbook. The same textbook is used for all three Broker Postlicensing courses.

Kaplan proctoring services will provide virtual proctoring over the internet for you to take your final exam according to North Carolina state requirements.

Please be aware that you must have access to the internet, a webcam, and a microphone prior to scheduling your exam (mobile devices cannot be used).  It is also recommended that you use Google Chrome for the best experience in the virtual proctoring classroom.

Once you have verified that your system is capable of running the virtual proctoring environment you can call Kaplan Customer Support to schedule your exam.
